Using a 12-valve, multi-port fuel injection system and an inductive ignition system for additional power, this new 1500 cc four-stroke 4-TEC^TM engine burns less fuel with fewer emissions, and achieves standards above and beyond current U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) guidelines.

In fact, 4-TEC technology reduces unburned hydrocarbon emissions by up to 80% compared to traditional two stroke carbureted marine engines.
